Beer breweries

You can taste special beers from the Veluwe at Veluwse Schavuyt or Bierbrouwerij De Uddelaer.

• De Veluwe has its own brewery; in De Vlijt Brewery about 4,000 litres of the traditional beer speciality Veluwse Schavuyt are brewed every week. The hand-brewed beer is top-fermented and is neither filtered nor pasteurised, so that the wonderful full flavour of the ingredients used in brewing is fully preserved in the beer.
• At De Uddelaer Brewery you can also try special beer from the Veluwe. De Uddelaer Brewery is housed in the carriage house of Staverden Castle and offers a unique ambience.
